HP Pavilion dv8225nr
17' HD widescreen
AMD Turion64
100G hard drive
CD-R+RW/DVD R+RW+R-dl(double layer)
Built in WiFi

Plus some little bonus features:
6-in-1 media card reader(handles all the major card types in one drive)
HP'* ExpressCard slot(looking at getting their TV tuner card later...)
Quick Play(one button boots the computer automatically to the media center program) even has a neat little remote that docks in the ExpressCard slot.
PCcard slot
4 USB connectors and a fire-wire
And it'* got a numerical pad!!!

You will love that card slot. It'* like a cheap *****..it'll take anything that gets shoved in there...lol

thats pretty nice.

i like the number pad. thats what annoys me about mine - thres no number pad.

1.8ghz processor . . . how much ram?

Well, it'* at least 17" wide (screen size), I would guess more like 18".

I had that laptop but returned it because of the video card performance. I wanted to play games on it etc. meanwhile I bought a Dell 9300 witha nvidia 6800 256mb card and have not played one game.....lol

Have fun with it....nice that it has the keypad on the side too as my dell dont.
