When I got a new phone last summer, the salesperson was showing me all these fancy expensive phones with cameras and whatnot. I told her straight up, I just want a PHONE.

Ditto.. now I've got a phone that will take pics. Past that I refuse to learn anything beyond how to talk on it. (I do that well though )

I rarely tak on the phone in a public place, but I got one with MP3 player and camera.....

Ditto here too. Although, I got just that-a phone, just a phone and nothing but a phone. I loved it (and I love it even more with a bright pink faceplate ).

The only cell phones that really bother me are the nextel phones. It seems to me that people who use those in public WANT to annoy those around them. What really pisses me off is when someone uses one in a restaurant. I am averaging at least once a month now getting up and walking over to people using them and VERY LOUDLY in about the same tone as they are speaking saying, "BLEEEP PERHAPS YOU SHOULD USE YOUR CELLPHONE OUTSIDE AND NOT INTERUPT EVERYONE ELSE HERE? BLEEEP"

I'm one of the ones that has to have a gadget phone But i'm very good about turning it on silent when necessary and watching my "external" volume when i use it. I have a new one on the way with dual color screens and a built in 1.3 MP digital camera with video. That should be fun. $75 gotta love ebay. Oh and i'm with you on those nextel phones. HATE EM.
