Default Cars these days

Today while I was having my car worked on I was looking at a Car and Driver magizine and noticed the road test digest. WOW! I'm looking through there and seeing minivans with high 7 seven second 0-60mph runs. The new Nissan Titan does it in 7 flat and heck even the damn Scion xc does it in 7.4! WTF Then I see this article about a 240hp HYBRID Accord going from 0-60 in 6.7. What, are they driving these cars down hill? :?

No, they're efficient cars, that don't need brute force to move,

That titan though befuddles me. I do like those tC'*, i would like one for sure

I didn't believe my buddy when he said he test drove the Titan and said it would keep up to my LSS off the line. Now I do and now it is time for a 3.4" pulley.

Depends on what they're tuned for. You need to find out when they fall flat on their faces

Sometimes I question C&D, but it'* only natural for cars to keep getting faster.

That just means we gotta modify our cars more to stay ahead.

/ can't wait till i get pulley installed

Yep, kinda like the new Altimas. I had a 2.5-* as a rental car, and it was *quick* right off the line from a dead stop. But once you got to cruising speed, it puttered along just like any 4-banger.

You should try an Altima 3.5 se. With a manuel transmission. It still pulls strong at high speeds. I can even get the tires to spin pretty good shifting to 2nd. You should also look up the stats on the forester xt. says the 2004 does it in 5.3 secs. That'* crazy for a big ulgy SUV type thing. I might have gotten one if it wasn't so ulgy.

Ah, such a common sentiment nowadays. That'* my thought on all kinds of the new, "trendy" models that are coming out.
