Car search is over!
I looked at at least 25 different places/ dealerships for cars, even private party sales. What I eventually realized was that I had to get a car that was a little over what I originally planned on, budget-wise. I needed something newer with low miles, because this has to be a car that will last me a few years until I get what I really want. I didn't want a car that was 8-9 years old. I needed to think about repair costs, not just monthly payments.
To make a very long story short, I found a 2004 Chrysler Sebring Sedan, with only 19,000 miles, for $9990. It will last me, I will be saving a LOT of $ on gas (milegae is enormously better than the Cutty), and it'* a decent looking car too. I knew Chrysler trannies are not the best, but I won't be driving like a maniac with this car. I needed something that I wouldn't feel like I had to drive fast. I did retire my 'SSEEEYAA' plates. I can deal without the horsepower for now, because everyone knows what I will get eventually.
BTW, the place I bought it from has an 04 Bonne GXP with 6,000 miles, selling for $19,999!! This place has the best deals, plus I have a 100,000/ 12 year warranty!
