Am I the only one who HATES it when people type ebay auctions in all caps?

I MEAN, IT'* REALLY ANNOYING, BECAUSE YOU'RE TRYING TO READ WHAT THEY'RE ACTUALLY SAYING, BUT YOUR EYES ARE SO FREAKING JARRED BY THE 'ALL CAPINESS' OF IT THAT YOU CAN'T ACTUALLY FOCUS ON WHAT THEY'RE SAYING. I MEAN, IT'* REALLY FRUSTRATING.

...what in the world? If the dude wants to sell 20 lots of tickets @ 50 bucks each, then why don't he just auction the car the "normal' way with a $1000 reserve price...????

If you are the only bidder the seller extends the auction to some other "precalculated deadline" (which the seller has already come up with) which is very very odd! I don't think that "pressure tactics" work that way!

And what would be the incentive to pay if you don't win? Do all of the payments have to be in before */he draws the ticket?

edit: Good grief, one of the main "plugs" is that you get 20 tickets for $50. Umm.. if everyone buys 20 tickets, there'* no advantage, right?
Yeah, that was going to be my comment. There'* no difference in odds if everyone pays $50 for 20 tickets or everyone pays $50 for one ticket. Why bother writing out the same ticket twenty times? Stupid people!

EVERYBODY RUN! Ford boy has an idea.....

perhaps be the only person to buy a ticket, during the final seconds of the auction. if you are the only person who buys a ticket... then you SHOULD have a car for $50. right?

...nope! he'* got a disclaimer (down at the bottom) stating he needs to sell 20 lots of 20 tickets @$50 each....so if only one person buys $50 in tickets..the car does not get sold....

You DON'T....
We had a guy where I work "raffle" off his own Harley Davidson...$10 a chance, 1000 tickets...$10,000, right.

Only problem was, his "drawing" was held remotely, and very privately, and some unknown person "won"...lol...He did have a picture of the "winner" though...lol...

His new bike looks a LOT like the raffled off one though...just has a nice (probably $10,000) paint job now...
