As you wish. I withdrawl my comments, but leave you with one based on my 40 years of life experience. You are probably screwed with no recourse. You are neither female or a minority and therefore on the loosing side of a double standard when it comes to harrasment. Good luck trying to find anything resembling justice in this situation.
I didn't want it deleted as I even laughed at some..

I was just stating that I didn't want the thread locked bcause of it.. if i end up getting fired, I'm taking a few people down with me on it.

No sweat here. I've got a few other, more elaborate, ones too.

I'm a pretty straight up fellow with a sense of humor. I've even been the victim of racism (showed up for a job interview once and was pretty much told by the black interviewer that a white boy need not apply. I guess with a name like "Curtis Lee" I should have expected that) But the sad fact is that all the "Equal Opportunity" and workers rights crap is a one way street.

If you have already accepted that you are about to be unemployed, at least get the contact info for the managers boss. I wouldn't bother with a legalese letter to the manager you have to deal with. If he/she is too stupid to smell B.*., then trying to convince the person of the err of firing you without cause is way beyond their intelligence. Keep it simple. Just politely fill in the comments section of the termination paperwork with details of the obscene lanuage and derrogatory remarks the other employee has repeatedly made against you and sign on the line (Demand a photocopy of the document signed by the manager in ink for later use againt that person.)

Wow, I guess this is a difficult one since you're dealing with a chick. If it were a guy I'd tell you exactly how to deal with it

In regards to the claim of you "speeding" and "peeling out" in the parking lot, are there cameras that might have footage to support an arguement in your favor? I'm not sure exactly where you work but I know alot of places have cameras monitoring the parking lot.

Being picked on is a oart of life, something you have to deal with no matter your age or background, however if this gril is going as far as to disrupt your work and causing your to possibly lose you job that'* wrong.
If this chick is harrasing you and making slanderous remarks based on your weight, I'd very calmly and professionly bring it to the attention of the proper people. Is there a human resources department at your job? be sure to use the words harrasment and discrimination, that'll be sure to get their attention. It also wouldn't hurt to have someone who can back up your claim since she will no doubt have someone to say that you are the one doing the harassing.

This is one reason why I choose to work in a place that is all male. (No offense ladies) But heres some advice, quit being a crybaby, since you are doing all of this she probably sees that it is getting to you and will not stop as long as it is. Just wait it out, and if you are telling the truth eventually the managers will see it your way, unless you keep crying about it to them. If you get fired, oh well their loss, when I was 17 jobs were not hard to get.

"Hostile Work Enviroment"

If you happen to be history Monday, find co-workers that will back you up and contact the local employment security office in your area and file for unemployment on the above grounds and then contact the labor board.

I had a supervisor who was making some harassing comments towards me, I looked at him and said "one more and I'll contact the labor board and file a hostile work enviroment complaint". It never happened again

Jack brings up a good point... any camera'* in the parking lot that can help you out?
Draw up witness statments that have heard, seen her being rude to you. Get them notarized and send copies to your boss cc to the regional office and corporate office. "The pen is mightier than the sword". When it comes time for the meeting witht the boss, BE COOL. Let him say what he has to say first. Try not to butt in with explanations while he is talking first. Then calmly explain your side of the story, what actions you plan on taking ie, letters, video tapes of parking lot etc. Worse thing that could happen is you would lose your job. It might even be in favor of you because you would no longer have to put up with that immature girl.

O.K. Eric, first off this is total B.*.! I may get heat for this, but I don't care if she is female or not! You have options! Go here or just get online and find your own.
http://www.madufflaw.com/

You can sue her, the management, and the company!!! You don't have to put up with that B.*. I'm not sure about the age to file for unemployment in Illinois. You would have to look that up. I know in my home town of Parkersburg, WV if you were under the age of 18 you would have to drop out of school. Honestly, they can't fire you for a lawsuit. They can make it hell to work there, but what are you going through now? Before this is all over with, you will definetly be coming out way ahead!

Even if you are at a disadvantage because of her gender, you MUST file. Never let something like that keep you from trying. Never roll over.
