Is there really a brand of memory that is better than others? I mean, what can really go wrong? (honestly, I'd like to know if there is anything)

I ask because there'* a local drug-store (Shoppers) that has their own in-house memory, which is wayy cheaper than SanDisk or Sony...shouldn't they all be the same or should I stick to a brand?

Sandisk probably makes it. It'* all the same. Buy it, and if it doesn't work, take it back. I believe sandisk also makes much of the OEM labels as well.

i have a 1g and i love it

Well I was torn cause I couldn't afford a 1g, was going to have to settle for a 512 (which I'm sure is fine). But now I'm stoked that I can afford a 1g.
