Default SD memory card question!

Does anybody recommend a specific brand for a SD card. Just got a new Kodak digital camera today. My old one was a Fuji so it used an XD card. Does brand really matter? I'm looking for at least a 2GB? Let me know! Thanks!!!

Default SanDisk

I've always used SanDisk myself. Found them to be pretty durable and reasonably priced. I wouldn't think brand makes much difference in this regard.

I'm not sure if his new Kodak is fast enough to take advantage of a fast write speed. If he had a digital SLR, then perhaps it would matter.

Yeah, my wife had bid on one then she noticed that the seller had like 6 recent negative feedback for fraudulent cards. Luckily she caught it and retracted her bid.
This seller had good feedback so we will see. And she does everything through PayPal so she has their protection. Believe me, she knows what to do. She'* on Ebay more than I am on here.

So what did you do with the Xd card? I been looking for a 512-1gb Xd (not type M or H) for my Fuji camera.
