Yeah, it quit for me too, got stuck on "buffering 92 percent"

Yahoo news story with a few pics.... and heres an underhood shot..

I think it was a big letdown that it was too far gone to start, or even be fit to sit down in.

I was just watching some footage from 1957, and a reporter, now very old of course, from Tulsa said it would be pristine when it came out because every precaution was taken. What a shame.

Obviously most of the car is shot, but at least the body/panels will be straight and it will look a lot better after it gets cleaned up.

Yeah, apparantly they haven't heard of Adobe Flash yet in OK

Wow, what a shame this ended up being. A quarter of a million dollars to unveil something you could see in a JY for free!

Adobe Flash? We just got indoor plumbing last week

Yeah, but what did they know 50 years ago about sealing something up for 50 years? Publicity stunt back then, publicity stunt now but its still neat to see what lived and what didnt down there.

My father and I wondered that if the concrete box WAS air and water tight, would it have eventually floated up outta the ground?

it'* a shame the box failed causing water to seep in, I agree too they should do this again. They could bury a Mustang or Corvette
