I'm laughing hysterically over the last few comments. Great! Also, I've changed my mind about the bench. I'd rather have a piece of contemporary art (or two hanging around. Of course, I'll have to one-up true ricers by doing everything well so that nothing falls off - especially when I pull a sub-20 second quarter mile!

Oh, I just had a great idea for you! Find one of those shovels that has the wide end, like 2.5 feet that'* nice and curved, and mount it on the hood, and maybe one on the trunk. That would make a sweet spoiler to make sure you don't lift off the ground with all that speed.

Don't forget to hack a few inches off the springs and adjust the camber to get the wheels kicked out.

I know it would be interesting to do this, but I don't want to make it unsafe. Maybe I'll use one of those squeezing things for $20 that'll lower cars by, well, squeezing the suspension. Do they still sell those?

I like the shovels, and I'll probably be able to make some backward-facing scoops on the front of the hood with those. However, I still need a hole in the hood (or no hole but only a place) for the carburetor and air cleaner. The trunk must have a crazy spoiler. I'm still partial to the bench.

They should. I bought a pair and used them to sorta space the rear coils on my car because the *** sags.

Random, generic Asian characters anyone?

Oh, and I think Jimmy is on to something... I think someone should hack up an SSEi'* front bumper and put it on a Civic. Or would that start WW3?
