Oh definatly. You'd think since they are that blue (which is absolutely unique to them) you'd always see them but no, they are sneaky.
And like Matt said, they have gone to more LEDs and interior lights.

I always see them, well i hvae a little help from other truckers. They are easy to spot in the middle unless its dark, but i dont like when they are in the middle and there behing a median of an overpass or on the right side and in front of the over pass to when you pass them, its too late to slow down or when they are sitting on a get on ramp or over pass. But my most worries are the DOT.

Jam them full of all the police equipment (center console, radios, mounted radar, laptop computer, backseat prisoner cage), and I'm told the interior space starts to shrink real fast.

When BMW started production at the Greer plant they "donated" 2 of them to the Highway Patrol. Not sure of the police specifics but, they were 740il model.

I've seen one of them and only one time in Charleston. Looked pretty cool!!!!!!!

A lot of the city departments and sheriffs around here are switching to Impalas, and I have to wonder why.
Because Crown Vics are dogs. They may be tough but they are quite slow. The police Impalas are 3800 powered. FWD is better in winter too.

I don't think I'd run from any of those cars, the Gallardo especially.

Michigan only has the one rotator on the roof still? Man here in MN you get pulled over and you'd think you're getting followed by a UFO or something. Some of the un marked squads here I think are an epileptic seizure waiting to happen.
