It sure beats the car I saw when I was in Georgia about 7 years ago. They had the old fashioned car with the 1 round blue light on top. I had to ask the trooper if that was really their police car. Needless to say he was not amused and asked me about the cars where I come from. I told him that in Chicago the whole darn car lights up. Then I got out of his area by following the truckers all the way to the state line. We all hauled tail outta there.

Hehe, probably seized in a drug raid and later equipped as a squad car. That'* how lots of departments in Illinois get their unmarked sports cars.

And SSE14U24ME, Michigan (see below) still uses a big red beacon on the roof of their State Patrol cars, and a hood sign with the car number I think... it is pretty nostalgic!

The thing on the hood says stop. I see Michigan bears all the time. It still to this day trips me out how they have the one stobe light up top.
