Default BRAKES STINK

GOOD GOD. I just did the first high speed hard stop on these expensive bendix brakes and THEY STINK LIKE NO OTHER!!!! I did a few hard stops on my cheapie raybestos and those kinda smelled cool. but dang, these have like a burnt plastic smell to em.

if you're wondering what kinda stop, it was 95-0 for * deer. Stupid deer. And yes, I was going too fast, but it was on a back road with full visibility and no one else around. Just thought i would share me getting high on brake pads.

I love country roads. I just did a 0-126 run in my Bonnie the other day on one of those. Nice and straight, and this one was just repaved a year ago, so it was nice and smooth .

How long have you had the pads on the car?
Were they properly bedded?

If the y were not bedded you probably were smelling the binders in the pad cooking and, you may have glassed them.
