I ordered my new laptop yesterday. I bought an HP nx9420. It'* a 1.6 Core Duo, 80Gb hard drive, 1Gb ram (going to 2 soon), CD combo, 17" display, 256 video ram, and XP Pro. It should be here Wednesday or Thursday. W00T!

Now this only thing left to do is to fight with HP to get the original XP disks so I can wipe all the crap off the drive and load what I want.

Add more RAM, and get some XP disks from a friend. You should be good to go. That'* a nice lappy.

Mind sharing what it cost you?

Yeah, it comes with a 512 stick... I bought a gig stick to upgrade to. I'm going to e-bay the 512, add a couple of bucks and get another gig... I should have 2 gigs in a week or two.
