so my auto tech drives a 96 se....calls it a POS and pretty much hates it....not rely gonna go into deatail but i was obviously appalled

I guess that shows how good an auto tech he is...

But remember.... he'* still driving it, can't be that bad.

Most people I know dont speak highly about the Bonneville. Thats why we are in a club as bonneville lovers and they are not.

It'* not everybody'* kind of car.

I get alot of that until I show them the taillights

I've yet to find anyone that is in to cars that does not like either of the SSEis I've had

Ricers I've met: "Holy sh** that thing sounds sweet"
LS1/Stang Drivers: "Damn, that thing has some balls"

Non Car Enthuisasts:

My Dad: "So how do I mod an SSEi to get 30MPG on 85 octane"
Security Gaurd at work: "I dont want a hopped up muscle car, I'll stick with buying a taurus"
My Friends: "Holy ***** this thing has lumbar!"
Coworkers: "Why do you like bonnevilles so much?"

LOL - one of the reasons Ilike the wifes Olds is when I get the "hate to pay the gas bill for that boat!" and then I hit them with 'HUH! She gets 32mpg and thats at 80 mph!! Whats your itty bitty Hyundai get?"

Most people I know don't like the Bonneville because "it'* an old man car". Clearly, these uneducated, narrow minded sorts with tunnel vision haven't bothered to do the least amount of research to realize how terribly wrong they are. I love to show off my Bonneville, it'* kind of fun to show people they are wrong!

Other than this, I've never heard any complaints.

Nobody really cares about my car untill they sit in it. People always complement the interior especially woman. I think every woman that has sat in my car has said how much they love the interior. Maybe its the girly light tan leather?
