Regardless whether you agree with me or not, most members take this place seriously and its critical we continue to respect one another. Not only does it encourage us but it reflects well on new members and makes us feel good about this place.

And of course, one day when we rule the world, we can have the big international meet

I have been called much worse things, so don't sweat it one sec.

It was not my intentions to scare anyone away, just a heads up to be more mindful and cautious when replying to post. It applies to us all, it will ensure a better mood across the entire board.

Degradation of this bustling, growing small town forum is not what any of us wants to see

No you r right. Someone shouldn't just crack wise all the time because they get off on it, or to see how smart *** they can be. Sometimes remarks, even ment in the most innocent way, don't translate well when typing, (even w/ all the cute smilie thingys.) I mean really does it add to the post to crack some smart remark just to make people laugh? I mean we all like to laugh, but if it offends one person, then what do you do.

With that said, there are always going to be people, (NO IMPLICATIONS HERE), that are always looking to be offended,( So far personally, I've never met one on here, everyone has been great, especially you Jim,..I love ******* with you.) and you are going to aggrevate and **** them off no matter what you do. On the other hand, Ragging on somebody is just wrong no matter what the subject, or who it is. I just want people walking away knowing that when they've read my posts or my comments, they had a smile, or a laugh, or think, "this guy is completely nut'*", BUT NEVER do I want them walking away mad or upset.

With that all said, I love this place and the people I've met ( ), and I will still try desperately to get that laugh or two, just to stroke my poor male ego! But I will try, as was suggested, to really think things thru, before I post,..but the problem w/ being a smart *** is that you say what pops in your head. Well see how it goes,..but Jim you never scared me off in anyway, you r absolutely right in what u said.

BTW just wanted to clarify my responce to Jim earlier,..for a second there I almost didn't interpret my OWN post well. I thought I sounded like I was being pissy, and taking my ball and going home. If that'* the case, and I don't interpret my own post well,..then how should I expect others to interpret mine,..just a thought!

I think it would help to solve problems quicker and get over grudges quicker if when one member has a problem or a grudge or anything like that against another member, that person is more open and tries to talk things out with the person they are holding something against. I also think that people should put as much effort into forgiving someone as they do holding a grudge against them if not more.

Everyone has a right to their opinion but they do need to be respectful at all cost. The BC is a close group and respect is key to keeping the union strong. There will always be a squable here or there but we are all adults here (at least in age) and should act as such. Sometimes you just have to agree to disagree and go on with your business.

Your not losing your mind. We are what guests see when they stop in here. We are either going to be inviting or will turn them away. I was lured here because of how great the site is.
