I'm not real familiar with bittorent, but I think this may be what is happening.

Most file sharing programs require you to share, to be able to download files from other people. It may have selected folders like "My Music" and "My Pictures" as folders it would allow people to download from. So POSSIBLY people have uploaded 130 MB of files off of your computer? Or maybe the folders you have available for share are a total of 130 MB?

yes, People are DL what you have off of you, and you are DL it off a few other people... Not quite the My Documents, the window itself, when you close the window, noone will be downloading it from you, thats why people suggest leaving the window open after you already have it this way other people can get it. If no one is hosting or "seeding" the file, it cannot be downloaded.

You are a node on the network with a "seed". Since you have the torrent on your PC, you are also supplying (uploading) files of that torrent. The difference in up/down is somewhat typical...otherwords, you can configure your torrent program to limit upload bandwidth (most do). Therefore, most are greedily leeching, but limiting what they will share. Once you get the whole file(*), it is up to you if you want to stay connected. Since you have already shared over 130Mb, I think you have contributed enough. :P

winrar

bittorrent downloads a program from a variety of sources that have that same file. This reduces demand on the primary file server by essentially making everyone who downloads the file a partial file server.
