yes pet names are nice, but babe and baby...those are so cliche....and dirty and "fake" sounding to me. Hearing the names "chick" and "babe" and "baby" has me envision some dirty perverted man looking to score a piece of @$$...

Not when you see your man and say "Hey Baby, how was your day?" If it was a total stranger calling me baby or babe, honey - I will tell them that I ain't your ....... and call it a day. But if it is with MY own man no problem
