It'* definitely a scam. Found two other 15K cars for the same price from the same seller. Now I just want a way to screw her over for trying to pull this bullshit.

did the seller give information as to where they are residing now? Where did they live (specifically) here in the US? I'd ask (even though its a bit extreme) where her husband was working over there and maybe try to verify it with the company over there if that person worked there. Do anything and everything you can to find out if this person is for real. I got burned two years ago by some jackass in canada for a motorcycle engine. It really pisses you off that jackass people like that get away with stealing your money and the gov't doesnt really give a ****!

She'* shipping it into Boston on her own dime for us to pick up as soon as she recieves payment. I can believe that, but here'* what I can't: 3000 for a 03 Accord Coupe with only 52K on it and no mechanical problems. She says she needs to get rid of it asap. We saved the e-amils and are taking it to a lawyer tomorrow to see what we can do to protect ourselves. The woman went on to say that we would have 5 days to inspect the vehicle and if not to our standards we would be refunded. Too good to be true?
I would not go through with this. I was just in touch with someone selling a 2005 Infiniti M45 for $16,000 on Yahoo autos. I knew it must be a scam but felt the need to contact them (sick curiosity maybe), and they gave me almost exactly the same story you got ("I bought this brand new in the states and then moved to Italy, and now my son has luekemia and I need the money. I will ship it to you as soon as you pay"...yah right ).

Hold off...let me do something...

What'* really funny and it isnt a coincidence...both them pages have the same "all caps" in the vehicle summary. Its bogus...it just is. Your just going to get ripped man.
That is probably some dude running his pc behind the baseboards of a soiled bathroom in a poor neighborhood.

Yeah I'm not gunna go through with it at all anymore, but I do want to give this guy a little heads up that you can't do this and get away with it. I need some ideas though, come on guys, use your sick twisted sense to help me teach this person a lesson.

I e-mailed the seller on the camry and she sent me the EXACT SAME e-mail as she sent my sister re: the accord. VERY interesting. Haha time to open a can of worms.
