I was told the only way to get a new one is to be the original owner of a previous year'* Viper. Could have changed though...
It'* a Dodge for craps sake, not a Ferrari.

A weak vote of confidence for the Bullet but even with Rogue'* mods it wouldn't be faster or quicker.....unless I shave off about 1000 lbs.

Road and Track Summary:

Z06: 0-60 in 3.9 and 1/4 in 12.2 @ 121
SRT-10....4.2 and 12.3 @ 118

Based on normal variations these two cars have virtually identical performance but the Vette is a lot less expensive and has more features.

They are real close, but it seems every test I have seen the Z06 edges out the viper by just a bit.

I have never been too impressed with the performance tests done by Top Gear, especially on american cars. Then there was the whole wet track dry track thing. It is interesting but they just seem to favor European cars, which it probably true since its a European show.

I agree, but that is what my friend who works for Chrysler said. He was working in the viper engine plant at the time, and was the one who gave me a ride in an '05. There were only three 05'* built at the time and they let him take one home for the weekend!

Not that those wealthy enough to afford said cars care, but the Z06 gets 28 mpg on the freeway!
