Default BC Chat.... Alt idea...

Ok as many of you know. chat kinda sucks...

Get more then 4 or 5 people in there and it slows way down and crashes and stuff.

So i have a idea.

I cant seem to find any Free chat programs that arnt the same one that we have already.

So

If someone can find me a Free chat program that can Be hosted on a web server or on any PC. I will host it and run it.
Cuz i tired of chat never working right or getting kicked out or locking up or what not.

I realy would like to use IRC but i know some people dont want to have to install a program or learn somthing new.

So...
Let me know if anyone has or knows of any good chat program.

well I have an IRC server we can use, and if people dont want to install anything, you could host a CGI IRC program on a webserver, so people could use that to connect to the IRC server? I don't know, IRC seems the best way to go since it'* so basic, dependable, and safe. IRC programs are easy to install, too.

yup thats what i was thinking.
Just that it needs to be very simple for some people that dont know much about PC'*

i love IRC, but i know that if you have never used it and dont know much about PC'* it might be a little hard to get in the first time... :?

FOUL................

Pauls chat room has worked very well so far. I have personally seen as many as 20 members in there.

Sorry Bandit but leave well enough alone.

Pauls chat has wored well so far, but it is far from perfect. we should not dismiss the possibility for improvement

huh works well.. huh..

it doesn;t work well for me and many others.

yeah you may get 20 people in there, but its slow and you type somthing and hit enter and ..... ...... ...... ..... then it pops up..

im just saying that why dont we have somthing thats better, Faste, Stronger.. and that works 99% or the time.
