Batmobile #1 Sold for 4.2 million + fees!
I watched live last night to see the famous George Barris creation go onto the block last night at Barrett Jackson- Arizona.
Original 1966 Batmobile sold at Barrett-Jackson for 4.62M USD [video]
In the end (which at 4.1 million two guys flip a coin to decide which gets the car)
RickChampagneChampagne Logistics - About Uswon coin toss and now owns it. He is going to put it into his living room,(so he stated last night on TV) as he is a huge fan of the Batman Series.
I thought it should have gone to a museum, so many can still view it.
