Talons got tangled up in power lines!
He'* going to be ok and released soon!

Hats off to the guy for going above/beyond his call of duty to rescue the bird, if there were no people like that in the world mankind would have killed off a lot more breeds, and or lot them die without trying to keep them from going extinct.

They updated the link and first video. Shows how he may have got caught below the insulator.
The eagle talks while he is wrapped on the scale, and weighs about 6lbs.
Interesting that they are installing new top perches or crossbars above the wires to protect the birds of prey. Good work!
The area where this bird was recovered from is host to about 200 eagles this time of year.
