Ok we are on a 6 hour blood test. Things are creeping but as the Dr said they can come up and go down just as fast. BP is holding in the 90'* on the lower number. They had her on fentonal but stopped that when her BP fell like a rock. But that also showed that it can be regulated and brought down if need be. At this point we are not talking about inducung or delivering via C section. That likely won't come up unless bloodwork shows huge increase. And like I said to Mama they have stopped everything and if they felt the need they would start it all over again. We have an ultra sound. At 230 just to see how Leland is and aprox size and weight. Will update after that. Hey any one in Ottawa wanna bring me some clothes lol naaaaa I look good in scrubs haha.

Damn, how did I miss this thread?!

I'm not religious, but my best wishes for your wife and the kid...blood sugar is hard enough to nail down even if you're in top shape. Being pregnant probably doesn't simplify anything...

And I really like the name. I hope little Leland comes into the world without any more complications.

BTW, don't be too offended by the doc asking her questions about the relationship. I'm given to understand that that is SOP for women and kids with possible stress-induced conditions. For men, the first question is usually about work.

First. About the Dr. Nanettes BP has been higher then normal mostly due to white coat syndrom. Instead of sending her to a shrink he should have tried to regulate. Anyways nuff said. I have someone working on this but it is the least of my worries. My biggest fear is that this happens again or something else with someone else and turns out worse. From a professional standpoint the Dr here is that if this would have been watched and treated in the first place there is a 90% chance that it wouldn't have gotten this far out of hand.

About the situation at hand at this point. Mom'* blood work came back at 130 this afternoon and showed things were stable. We are now awaiting the results from 8pm. As of the Ultrasound Leland is perfect and we got to see some really excellent images of him he looks like me lol. Right now the US dates him at 34 weeks 6 days. And brings him in a 5lbs 5oz'*. But dates can go 14 days either way and weight is aprox. Other then that he'* perfect but laying transverse not head down. But again that could change and means he aint ready yet. Chances are if the blood doesn't stay stable and we can't buy some time with treament a C-Section will be needed. Hopefully we can keep mom relaxed enough. Will keep you guys updated as news comes in. If things come back still as they were this afternoon I'm going to head home and get a fresh set of clothes and some baby gear. Because Mom isn't leaving the hospital.

Night guys you are on my info list but its harder to get to you guys. But I will and again thanks for all your thoughts and well wishes.

Well we have gotten the results from 8pm testing. All is good. Well not good but the things we wanted to see stableized stayed where they were. That'* 2 good tests in a row. Hopefully tomorrow morning brings the same. If all is good I will likely fly home and get a needed change of clothes and other junk.

Nan has taken the other part of the BP medicaion. And finally mentioned feeling relaxed and calm I said to her that'* what normal feels like lol. She likes it hahaha.

I should mention that we are in no way going to be living a normal life for the next little while. Mom will at this point NOT be leaving the hospital. From what'* been mentioned she has preclampsia (sp) although right now she isn't in any great danger but it can change almost hourly for better or worse. The thing right now is swelling but some of that should subside with lower BP.

Honestly in a perfect world I would like to see my son born naturally but I/We understand what might need to be done. In a worst case scenerio. That bring the other issue Leland isn't as coperative as he needs to be ie: he is living the life lol he has not decided to drop yet. Last night he was breech and this afternoon he was laying face up across lol. To him its not time yet don't blame him.

So the more regular blood work the better to give him the time to drop.

I have been on the phone non stop. Talking but I honestly do not know what I would do with out you guys. Again I thank you for allowing me to use this as an avenue to vent. Because as strong as I look on the outside inside I'm still human. And I still have emotions that I can't really show mom.

Good night guys.

Very glad to hear things are getting better.
I am sure most of us feel like we are going through this with you, especially those of us who have children.

I guess at this point no news is good news. Nan is back on a 12 hour blood watch and BP is being controled with a narcotic. From talking with her Dr'* were going to be here for a while and as long as things are in control there is no immediate plans to deliver the baby basically we are waiting on him. And if he is anything like me it could be a while lol!!! I'm going to try and get my telus wireless card up and running its a PITA (typing from the BB). Anyways I had Nan outside briefly this afternoon in a wheel chair just for some fresh air you have to understand a woman that has been in bed for 4 days can get a little GROUCHY lol. Also did the pampering thing and shaved her legs. It'* the least I could do. Just waiting for some relief to get her so I can go and get some clothes.

When we know something I will update just keep your fingers crossed all stays good and Leland takes his time.
