I bought my Bonneville from a wholesaler too. It worked out great. He let me drive the car all day so that gave me time to give it a good inspection at my brother'* shop before I bought it.

maybe there just arent any advertised that I am aware of, perhaps I should keep my eyes peeled. Like someone else posted, I would be afraid of getting on with problems, if close inspections arent permitted beforehand. Its not like I need to buy a car this week anyways LOL, still got these 3 nickle and diming LOL.

The wholesalers don't PAY wholesale at auctions. They buy under. They typically wholesale them to dealers. I paid UNDER wholesale (less than half retail) for my car.
