Default Auction Sniping.

What do you know about it, and how can I do it?

Of course this would be using a service to bid on an eBay auction in the last few seconds.

Sniping isn't a program or service.

I have sniped a couple cars on e-bay, as well as other items. It'* almost always needed these days since every auction gets sniped by someone, so, everyone is doing it.

Find an auction you like, and watch it at the last few minutes, and watch the last minute bidders. You'll see many bids during even the last few seconds...usually, that'* where I come in. He He He

You can catch me on aim or something, and I'll explain the basics. I'm not sure if it is a banned discussion here or not. I know some people don't like it.

There'* a name for what I do!?!?!? Haha, that'* so great. I'm aweful when it comes to this...I only bid on auctions I know I'm going to be around in the final seconds so I can steal it from whoever thought they were winning .

Yep PJ, auction sniping is a service. You can sign up for these services at various sites, put your high bid, the auction #, and at the amount of time before the auction ends to bid so if you aren't around when the auction ends the bid get'* put in when you want it going in, as long as the current bid at the time of your snipe isn't higher than what you want to bid.
My brothers and my mom have been using snipers for well over 2 yrs now -I never have as I am a spur of the moment buyer mostly and if it'* something I want I make sure I'm around at the end to put my bid in.

It'* a service now? That'* no fun... he he he ... I like to do it manually, but there was a time or 2 that I wasn't around, and the service would have been cool. I like the hunt though, and would still do it the old fashioned way. Doing it my way allows you to decide at the end if you'd like to increase your bid.....that'* good for the item that has already passed your highest bid, by a dollar or something.
Now that I know there'* a service, it explains why there always seems to be snipers on every auction at the end. lol
