Default Anyone have a OLD laptop they want to get rid of?

Odd request, but I am looking a old laptop. I happened across a box i lost about 8 years ago chock full of my old Windows 3.11 disks, and old games on floppies. Looks like I'd need at least a 486, as most games need a 486-66 or higher. I'd prefer it to be free, I'll pay shipping. Obviously should come with a power cord, and have a floppy drive, who knows, maybe even a CD-rom?

PM me or reply here if you have one! Thanks!

Yes, I am a nerd, and I'd love to play my childhood games again!

Hey, I run Windows 3.11 under Windows XP on my AMD Athlon X2 64, with wireless networking! It acts as a separate device on my network too thanks to TAP networking.

Can be done using QEMU. Let me know if you are interested, I'll e-mail you the drivers for the QEMU hardware configuration (cirrus logic video, Realtek 8029 network card, etc.)

Not a PC user anymore. I am on a Mac.

Plus, I am looking for one to simply play these old games, especially if I get bored somewhere.

I think I have an old 486 laptop kicking around here. Not quite sure if it still works. I know it did when I last used it, but it'* been sitting for 6 years. No CD drive though.

If you find it, let me know what model it is. TIA.

Ahh, how about this one, anyone have a set of Windows 3.11 floppies? I did find mine, but sadly, 3 of them seem to be bad, can't get them to read. :(

Pretty sure I have a set of those disks still. I did go thru the desk a couple months ago, and an hoping that I didn't just throw them out. I'll try and take a look tonight or tomorrow.

I've got a couple older laptops still hanging around too. I'll get model numbers and specs from them and post back. But if you find something before I get back on here, go for it, don't wait around for me, as I sometimes get busy with other stuff and don't get back around as often as I'd like.

Oh I can wait. I will wait till everyone gets their models and pics posted, then I will choose which one I want. I never realized so many people still have old 486 laptops hanging around.
