Default Anyone else upgrade to Windows Media Player 11

And have some new processes running?

I have wmpnetwk.exe,wmpnscfg.exe, and imapi.exe running. I actually don''t know if thats whats running imapi.exe but I'm pretty sure it wasn't running before.

Anyways, my computer keeps locking up unless I stop these processes so I'll probably roll back to WMP10

Works great for me too unless I'm playing one of my games, then it locks up everytime. I stop those 3 processes and then I can play for hours without a problem.

when I first downloaded the 11 beta, I had issues with my MP3 loading songs, but now that I have downloaded the finish version everything is ok.

I havent upgraded and I dont think I will, but heres a neat little program that will tell you about whats running and who owns it.

Think of it as Task Manager Deluxe.

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sys...sExplorer.mspx

Its FREE and you dont have to DL anything Just an .exe. File

Came with Vista. I only play music with it, so nothing has really changed for me except the UI. And I don't see any extra processes.

Works fine for me, and no new processes- even with it running.
