I thought the skeeters were bad last year, but they are bigger this year, and this is also the summer of the return of the secadas!

What'* wrong with Cicadas?? (<< Correct spelling) They are noisy, but harmless. When I was growing up, I used to love the sounds Cicadas made.

And they are cool looking too!!!

Nothing wrong w/ cicadas, that was just a point of fact I was making,..for us in Ohio, maybe everywhere not sure, they only come every 17 years. (come every 17 years, and we thought Santa had it rough ) Anyway, they r cool,..but skeeters, they suck, literally!

I've heard that 17 years thing before. We had them every summer down in Texas. May be due to it not being as cold.

I've never seen a one of them here in MN tho. Shame....

To answer the question yes we get mosquitos in Canada, big hairy scary industrial sized ones that suck the life out of you.

no no, seriously tho, we get em, pretty bad in June and a lot more up in cottage country then in the cities
