I'm just west of Rochester. We had -10*F last night. As I was watching a movie last night I remembered that I had left my beer in the garage for lack of a better place to put it (We just moved). I grabbed my flashlight and my infrared thermometer and ran out. Beer was 12*F last night and not a single one was lost to the cold. Hell, if beer can take that much cold, I don't have to worry about leaving it in the garage anymore!

All day today it didn't even get out of the single digits. The highest I saw was 5*F! BRRRR!!!! That'* cold!

Welcome to my world. The whole town is a skating rink, it warms up during the day, then the wind comes along and makes everything nice and smooth, then it freezes again at night!!!! Soon we will not be driving anywhere, we will be skating.

We had a great sunset tonight with temps around 45* F and dry roads. :P

I just love the coast. Even in Canada.

Driving down the freeway for work this mornin was interesting.....You just look at the brake pedal and the ABS would be goin haywire....look at the gas pedal and the *** end of the truck'* skatin on ya.......Sucked...But yet kinda fun...I just can't stand the people that haves the grapes to come out in this stuff, but don't have the balls to learn how to drive on it..I got no problem drivng 50-60 MPH on ice....

Yeah, yesterday was one of those days. If I had to find an upside, I now know with total certainty that the GA'* ABS breaks are in perfect working order. The funny thing about the GA (which I think is true of most newer cars) is that when the traction control or the ABS are activated, I get a little light that says "Low Trac" which makes me look at it and go "duh!, I'm on glare ice...". :P

It might be really cold out, but I can still see green greass. We have snow and ice and stuff on the roads, just not on all the grass.

I enjoy the fact that my winter beater warms up really quick. I can't start it up and let it warm up unless I'm in it, due to the fact that the ebrake is broken, and our driveway and the street in front of house are both hills. But I have to drive about a mile and heat is coming out after letting the engine warm up for about 1 minute. So it pretty much takes ~3 minutes for it to be pouring out heat from when you start it up. My STE would take ~10 minutes or so.
