be like me, when you are about to go somewhere, before you take your shower and iron clothes, start your car up in the garage and then take a bath, dry off put clothes on, get in a nice warm car and be on your way in comfort. I let it warm up for 45min to an hour

Wow! lol there is NO way I need to do that..hahha, that kills so much gas, in reality a good running car needs 60 seconds to be operational when its really cold, but 2-3 mins is more like it for me anyway.

GAWD. Is it ever nasty cold in eastern MI. Yesterday morning we woke up to a balmy -3 with a windchill of -20. This morning wasn't quite as bad at only -1 with a windchill of only -9.

I'm really concerned about the main water pipe freezing and bursting in one of my rental homes. I asked the tenants to let the water dribble from the tap so the water line doesn't freeze and burst... I hope they do, or else there will be hell for me to pay!!! Heat tape will be going in next week!

cold in western Michigan too. It'* 0*F this morning and the high is expected to be around 6! I usually let the car warm up for 5 minutes before I leave and I usually have heat by then. I usually have heat within a mile of driving anyway.

Yep, it'* about 0*C here right now. Thank goodness for the lake being insulating, central and eastern michigan will be colder because they don't have it.
I don't know what is up with my GA, it heats up really fast. I can drive about two or three miles (I'm bad, I don't warm it up---but it does sit in a garage so...) and have heat, which is a huge change from the Bonne. But weird thing I learned (that everyone else knows already), if the GA (and any car really) is facing a field which is also into the wind and it gets drifts blowing into it--you get snow on the inside of you car-never knew that until two days ago...note to self, don't part facing the field.

Whatever happened to global warming?
I think it was played up a lot anyways.

its even going to get below 25 here in north florida...Florida!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awww...poor Florida. I'm not sure I ever want to talk to you again :P .
(kidding, really, I am).

Well, its pretty cold here. I didnt go anywhere today, just started my car twice, from the convienence of my living room Wanted some of the snow to melt from the hood
Oh yeah! Remote starters are great fun. I only wish I didn't keep accidentally bumping my kill switch...it'* a pain because at first I think it'* broken, then I'm just bummed because I can't start it until I go out there-which defeats the whole purpose.

Okay, that was the longest post about nothing.
