The newer Mac'* use Intel chip sets and you can run both Mac OSX and a Windows OS in partitions. Your laptop might not be downward compatible though.

Thought everyone knew VMWare? Alright here'* the run down:

Virtual Machine Ware -
VMware Virtualization Technology, Virtual Machine, Green IT Servers, Hypervisor - VMware

Basically you can run a different operating system within your own OS, it'* a program and you can let'* say if you have Vista Ultimate 64bit, and you want to run Windows XP, well download the ol' vmw and you can emulate XP in it'* own environment you don't have to switch anything! You can do it for 98, 96, etc. Supposedly you can play old legacy games on it. Well, in theory you can run Mac OSX on vista with VMware.

Or you can just call my brother up and he'll make your windows run like a mac, and I'll make it look like one too! We're nerds in that fashion hahaha.

Umm.. are your fans hooked up to a control that you installed yourself with wires..? You can't turn up your fans if they're uncontrolled. Even if you download a program, and most likely you won't be able to pull it off with a laptop.. sorry.

It depends on if they are variable fans and the system uses temp monitors to drive them Todd. Some systems doont have variable speed fans or processors that can run at different speeds. Inspirons do and why the guy was able to write the program I hooked you up with. Let me know how SpeedFan works, it didnt like my Dell.

Right, but your fans have to be hooked up to a fan speed control before the program actually works. So it must have been stocked with one. Otherwise it would just say it'* getting turned up and not actually do anything.
