Default Anybody on here publish a book before?

I'm thinking about publishing my poetry. I've done some research, and it seems that on-demand online publishing is all the rage these days. Downside is that it costs $600 min. Any recommendations? I'm always writing more, but right now I've got about 175 poems. I would books up myself and try to market them to locals, but I'm concerned with copyright and I'd like to get an official ISBN too.

My Dad wrote three. All 3 went through a traditional publisher.

What kinda $$ are we talking about for initial investment for a traditional publisher? Unfortunatly, it'* all about money for me. Mainly because I have none!
