Yes the 4 cyl Corrodo is supercharged. It is a 1.8l with a 60mm G-ladder (scroll type positive displacement supercharger)
I don't have a Corrodo or VR6, mine is a Jetta (same platform) with a 2.0l fed by an Eaton M45.

Thanks for the feedback, although it'll be a couple of years before we get around to looking for one I just like to to as much research on something as I can. It'* nice to know so many people around here like them. Even though I'll never get rid of the Bonne or the TJ for a 'Raddo I can't help but feel like a traitor for even thinking about bring a sausage stuffer into my driveway.
"sausage stuffer".........better than "rice burner".......VW is more for the cam and internal mods than like the bolt on no imagination crap you get w/rice!!!! Also their handeling is king compared to any rice without any mods needed. You know what I always wanted to do w/ a corrodo, I always wanted to do the 2.0l block w/16v intake and turbo it but I definatly didn't have the money.....plus to find somebody to work on a 16v is like trying to find somebody to work on a rotory engine from those RX7'*!!! Much better to try to find a VR6 corrodo anyways, I heard that the 1.8l supersharged engines take a lot of maintaining.

A little off topic but;handrumman, the Bonne in your sig looks familiar. Your profile says your in NH, I think I've seen you before.
Chance of finding a good condition Corrado VR6 are tin, but you still can find one 4 cylinder and do a swap, then you can swap a younger version of the VR6. Thats what i would like. Those swap are very common.

Any VW takes a lot of maintaining....but the G60 (*/C I-4) hold their value WAY better then the VR6.....
I think they're even harder to find...but I'm not sure....But I've driven a G60 before....INSANE.....then mod it LOL.
If I were to Auto X, that would be the first car I look at.
