Default Any one know anything about VW Corrado?

My wife likes the look of them, and I kind of like their body styling too.
She always wanted one but doesn't like the type of people that usaully drive them. I told her if it was possible to shoe horn in a 3800 for an engine (and if I can't talk her into a Fiero) it MIGHT be a project car I would consider in a few years.
I don't know how hard that would be since I've never actually seen the engine bay of one of those cars.
Anyone ever have a Corrado? Did you like it?

Yeah, I've been looking at some on cardomain and stuff. They do seem pretty fast and the VR6 only has, what, 170 hp or something like that?

The Corrado is the same base platform as my Jetta. My sig pic should give you a good idea of the engine bay size.

Their handling is good and can be made very good with ease.
If you are interested I can point you to resources to push over 400Hp from the VR6.

That would be cool, I take it you've owned or own one.

That is an Eaton M45 in his sig pic. A Neuspeed kit. With my supercharger oil in it.
