Going on 14yr, AT1(AW) Avation Elect. Tech. I worked in/ ran workcenters that fix radar warning rec/ jammers, chaff/flare systems and crypto. Currently A Quality Assurance Rep. Been on 5 carriers and done 4 deplyments. Both coasts.

Canadian Navy here. I am a naval engineer on the HMCS Ville de Quebec. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

In no way knocking anyone'* service to their country, but when I picture the Canadian Navy, I picture a bunch of 16 foot Alumicraft fishing boats out on the lakes......

hehe I am just kidding. That is actually one of your super carriers. We do have a Navy it is small but mighty. Funny thing....we don't have enough people in our navy to man one supercarrier. Any, here is a pic of my actual ship funny enough parked in Savanah Georgia last summer. That was a great port visit. From what I was told I had a great time....

We had a Candiain ship with us on my '01 westpac on the Connie. CV-64 So you all do deploy to real places.

We have had ships in the persian gulf since the 1991 Iraq/Kuwait war. Not to mention we are the only other allied nation with the states to be capable of being completely integrated with your carrier battle group. Sometimes it is fun playing with the big guys.
