antitheft problems
my buddy has a 97 grand am 2.4L, and the pcm went bad. so he changed it and now, the car will start and run for a few seconds then the anti theft light will come on and kill the engine. how do i reset it?

What did he replace the PCM with? In other words where did it come from? And if it was a junkyard unit did it come from the same type of car? Its possible that the PCM may need to be reflashed for his car
Also it sounds as if the engine is starting in Module mode and the PCM is not taking over... Not 100% what the issue may be as I am not an expert when it comes to the Quad( Twin Cam GM 4 Cylinders )
