yep..ford tried to follow GM and make there own 3.8 and it failed miserably..these things are pretty quick new..ill give em that..but after about 60K its just all down hill from there...

im actually suprised it made it to 160K before any huge problems arised

struts nd shocks all around
alot of new gaskets under the hood, prolly new or rebuilt heads
new or rebuilt trans
rack and pinion seals

the list goes on..and this POS just isnt worth it

i hate ford >.<

with boostie on this one every 3.8 i ever had poped the head gaskets do them bolth at the same time

well this might not be what we thought

it SEEMS to be that it only leaks coolant after you shut it off...while its running it just smokes

im so confused!!! its not over heating, its not running bad...but im loosing antifreeze out of the exhaust after i shot it off..and from the look of it..its only from the front 3 cylinders

and no i havent had the time to check any of the plugs
