Default Another sad day

Well, it happened again. IED blew up under a humvee of ours and 4 guys were critically injured, 1 was killed. 2 of the 4 survivors are not expected to make it. Most have 50%+ burns over their bodys. All five I served with overseas. I wish the best for the familys, and keep them in your prayers. Some of you michigan people might know them,

SPC Dearing: KIA
SGT Akers: 50% burns
SPC Youmans: 45% burns, doing well
SSG Webber: 70% burns
SGT Dreasky 50% burns

That is terrible!! We definately need to keep the troops in our prayers and give thanks for those selfless men and women protecting us.

On another note- today would have been my brothers birthday. He died in 95 and Thanksgivings have always been a hard time of the year. For a while my mom cancelled dinners, Jeff was with his dad, and I would just end up spending the day at the bar.
