Not trying to be a dck, I guess I'm just suprised. You've put a lot of time/$/effort into your car otherwise..
IMO this goes into the same catagory as heating up the springs or cutting them.
And lowering the car any which way requires an alignment since it creates positive toe and negative camber. (the toe being the major thing) At that point you may as well swap springs for the winter since you'll need an alignment anyway.
