Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

Another one of those days.

I still see minute scratches from the wet sanding. More buffing...... Dreamakers swears by this stuff.

It leaves a finish total gloss when wiped.

Then they finish with Farecla'* Gold Top to bring the brilliance out.

More great weather here, pushing 70*. I did a little more wet sanding on my hood, a few places I'm just not happy with.

Then I grabbed my wifes truck. she'* been grumbling about the suspension making noise when going over bumps. So I poked around and really found nothing. I sprayed some oil around to see if that helped. Went for a drive, still there. So I put it up on ramps and went under and started pushing up on the truck, I got it bouncing and then I heard the creaking. I traced it to the sway bar. Looking around some more I found the drivers side end link was worn out and moving around. So I removed it.

Took a lot of work but it came out.

Went for a drive, no more noise. So I ordered a new one from rockauto. When it comes in I'll install it. Until then, it will be fine.

I drove past the guys house who'* just a few doors down. He restores old cars.

Now he has a great collection.
