so for the past few months, my car has had a rusted out resonator, and I was kinda thinking it might sound good with an aftermarket exhaust.. so I did a CAI (PVC ftl, though.. i know, don't badger me on that :P ) .. so yesterday, I had that resonator fixed with a magnaflow one.. and the car was SO MUCH quieter.. and I thought "I really like this.." so today, I took out the CAI.. put in the airbox from my brother'* 04 Monte Carlo SS (I gutted mine and the other one sitting in the garage he gutted and did it wrong when he did it back in '03..) and I'm in love with how quiet the car really is.

I actually changed my mod plan, which isn't a mod really to me.. seeing it'* factory.. I really want to move toward the 04-05 SS Supercharged exhaust (dual stock mufflers with nice GM tips)

Nope. Whatever tickles your fancy. We are all different.

Same way I feel. I love how quiet it is and don't want a FWI for that reason. I may end up getting one for performance but I won't be welcoming the noise.

I actually want to chop that resonator off horribly bad... That car is WAY too quiet. I want mine to sound like a grand prix or something. I've always liked how those sound.

Because you just turn the stereo up to drown it out
