While I wouldn't call that "bombing" in the classic sense, it did make them a little more reasonable about killing each other, at least for a little while.

By "classic" I refer to the Curtis LeMay aproach: Unload EVERYTHING on your enemy until they surrender unconditionally, or until you run out of ordnance, aircrews, or aircraft. We haven't stuck it to anybody that hard since the 1940'*...perhaps the world is a little overdue for a refresher course before screaming in the streets for our blood.
