aftermath of the wiring install (not for the faint of heart)
Okay....Whoever that was/is that russianpolarbear posted a pic of....wins lips...er...hands down.
My experiences have been trivial in retrospect:
Face sliced open by a siamease (sp?) cat when I was 18 mo. (Scars very evident at 36 years old) That is why I am a dog person
Stabbed by a fork by my 3 year old brother for using the salt before I passed it. (I was 5)
Broken skull and a subduralhematoma at 11 years old. (no ill-effects, ill-effects, ill-effects, ill-effects,...)
Knee injuries from pole-vaulting in high school...what goes up, must come down....preferably on the mat side as opposed to the asphault side of the bar.
Impaled quadracept during my truck driving years (relatively minor, but hurt and bled a lot)
Snapped my toe off (second to the pinky toe) while running and playing with my dog. (Those floor heat registers can be dangerous in socked feet...."Hey, I didn't wear red socks today!?!?...) I got to watch the ER staff sew it back on.)
Hernea opperation under a local anesthetic so I could watch (slice and dice--no laporiscopic for me!). Unfortunately I couldn't see anything due to the "tent"...bummer.
Of course I have had my share of slices from knives and other sharp items.
Growing up is FUN!
