What'* with all the ads on the forum? Top of the page, right side of the page, bottom of the page, and even inside every post. I'm looking at 3 for the F150 right now.

I had to start running adblocker for this very reason. It sent me over the edge when the ads became invasive and started obstructing content years back.

Between that and youtube...

Yep, the ads got so bad that I could not click a link that I clicked daily to so me current posts to threads I am subscribed to, so I had no choice but to block them, because they were messing up the forum functionality for me, they need to be placed a bit better..

Till they are use this.

Back in the day didn't you have to pay for the plus version?

I get the importance of ads, and I won't block them from sites I trust, and respect, as long as they do not hinder the functionality of the forum, like they do here.
If they'd fix the placement of them, and allow you to close them if you choose, then I'd unblock them..

As much as they are annoying I get their purpose, to try to help site sponsors generate revenue.
That would be fine as long as it did not make it harder for me to navigate the site on a daily basis.
They may not bother some, but the top center placement of one of them was making it impossible for me to click Quick Links/Today'* Posts

You're just better off blocking them all.
