Well said jr's3800. And, thank you.

Good advice... can't wait for a pic of the SSEi (coming soon, I hope).

Perhaps someone can please tell me what I have done wrong.

I seem to have fixed it myself... thanks anyway.

I was not insulting the Grand AM. It is in fact a great little car (which is why we purchased it). Kendra often says how it was nice to have a nice little get around town car. The SSEi is indeed longer and a little harder to park but as you get used to the power and luxury items on the Bonnie its hard to think about ever going back. "Emma" as Kendra named it was a dependable fun to drive 4-door family car. It just had no power (at least compared to what im used to in my old GTP and the SSEi) in the "passing gear".

I think SilverBullet said it best when he called my GA GT a "Baby Bonne," because that is what I think of it as. Of course the Bonne has more "luxury items" on the list: heated deats, heated driver'* side mirror, computer, memory seating, etc... but, for the price, my fully loaded GA GT has a lot of "luxury items" as well. It has the same stereo as my SSEi (200 watt, 8 speaker Bose), delayed locking, power driver'* seat, tire inflation monitor, etc... which many cars in its price range lack. And, although its "passing gear" is nothing compared to a GTP or an SSEi (since is lacks a supercharger) I still find it to be ample for everyday driving.

I'm not saying that the 3800 is the best or strongest, but its just a bit of all of the best qualities rooled into one ball(3800 V6).... I do like the Grand Am but I will choose my bonneville anyday....
Wow...Where in Colo did you live?? Prolly Denver , huh? I lived in Grand Junction...Good times...(as Jimbo would say, but he'* not here... )
