Lame what the guy did. Am I the only one that has the Non-Emergency Police dispatch phone number in my cell phone?

Must be. I've never dialed either 911 or the regular number myself but most people just don't think about it as being a number they should add.

I think there'* something wrong in that guys head. I've called 911 a few times, once when the person next door wigged out and tried to kill her self, once when a transformer on the pole outside my house exploded, and once my dog called when she knocked the phone over and walked across it. I so no reason why a phone needs to come programmed with 911 on it.

My grandparents did that once. They got one of those phones with the three enormous buttons at top for emergency services and when my grandpa went to hit one of the speed dials he accidentally hit the Police button. Hung up immediately but too late it had already connected. Cop stopped by and checked things out.
