Default 4 Door Ford Bronco?

Is there such a thing? I was cruising out of town tonite when one passed me. At first I thought it was a crew cab truck with a shell. Then I caught back up with it and it said Bronco on the side and I realized the chassis was only a half ton and couldn't be a crew cab. I read something one time about a Ford Bronco Centurion. I'm thinking that'* what it was. Kinda unexpected here in pathetic Wyoming.

Depends on the year. There used to be the full sized Bronco'*. Not sure if the little ones (aka Bronco II) ever came in 4 doors, tho.

It was a full size one. Probably around a 92 or so. I just checked on them. And they were special made.

Yes, and they were called Centurion, just as you said. The Bronco II'* were offered in four door in the later years--just before they became the Explorer.

yeah, they were called a Centuron. It was Ford first attempt to try and compete with the full sixe suburban. As with the excurtion, it was finally put to rest in the 1993, i belive, model year. later, the expedition replaced the bronco in it'* final years....

There werr actually a few different models made as well (1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 2WD, 4WD, etc)
They weren't built directly by Ford, as has been mentioned, but were built by Centurion on (usually) extended cab frames. They also got lots of extra crap that the regular Broncos (which were only available as a 2 door, 4WD) never got like rear A/C, fancier interior, etc.

check out www.fourdoorbronco.com or the forums at www.fullsizebronco.com for more info

( I may have some facts wrong, since I just have a regular Bronco--but that'* what I've picked up so far)
