Default 3.8L vans

I know some vans came with the 3.8 motor, I have no idea which ones. Were any of them AWD? Just pondering a AWD setup using a series 2 3800...not for a bonneville though...dune buggy or something. Figured mating a transmission would be the tricky part.

yep, the lumina apv, pontiac transport, and oldsmobile sillouette were available with a s1 3800, i don't believe they were ever available with the s2 3800, i think about that time they switched to the 3400 instead.

That'* true, but they wern't ever available with AWD, regardless of engine. The only AWD vans were the safari/astro with the 4.3L and 4L60E.

We have one (maybe two) members that have 3800 powered Sand Railers. Pretty nifty looking machines....
