So i've been thinking about picking up a second job for the summer so i can work 40ish hours a week (right now i'm gettin 20-26 at McDonalds) I've applied at a few places but not too many places hiring around here.
Well a new burger shack is opening up and they were hiring i had debated puting an application in...

Well today i was working drive-thru at mikey-d'* and two guys came through who i'd seen a few times within the last week, and they said they were the owners of the new burger shack, (Johnny'* Lunch) and they pretty much said that the few times they've been through they really liked how i worked, and they wanted me to "stop by" the restaurant soon. So pretty much if i put an app in i'd probably get a job.

So tomorrow i'm gonna put an app in and hopefully i can make some money this summer to mod the bonne

I just found it funny that they were "recruting" employees from their competition. Because they are putting the resturaunt in like 1/2 a mile away from mcdonalds.

ive had that happen before but it was a body shop lol. and all i do was clean but i stuck with the one that haired me 1st

They used to have non-competition clauses or something like that back when I worked there 30 yrs ago. You couldn't work for the 'others' while you work at one.
